The scar on Skye’s knee is in the shape of a smile
Synopsis
While preparing to go on a world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins to experience increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Shaken by growing horrors and the pressure of fame, Skye is forced to confront her past. In one of the walls, Skye puts a bottle of VOSS water on a stone/marble kitchen counter.
Skye Riley: [smiling creature] You’re not in control, I am!
and a sound is heard, similar to the sound of something plastic being picked up. VOSS water bottles are glass, which is actually shown in the film, so the sound does not match the observed action. .

A very disturbing look at the “Smile” phenomenon against the background of pop music and celebrity culture. Skye, the main character, is at the center of this terrifying story, which shows life levels spiraling out of control. We see most of the story from Skye’s point of view, and so the film does a great job of empathizing with the character, despite all her moral flaws.
It also features some deep themes about toxic pop star culture
In the film, “Smile” takes on multiple meanings, as it also reflects the pressure associated with appearing and smiling for the camera when a person’s mental health is in decline. Her mother, her assistant, and her worshipers seem sane in this chaos, but their actions seem to have become instruments of torture. It’s so frustrating, personally I think Skye is going through too much, and in the end I’m just glad the movie is over.
If you like body horror, you’ll like it
The film is quite scary, but it disturbs rather than scares.
